Abstract:
My assignment will guide how to surf safe internet using some configurations
settings. This implementation report will be more helpful for students, small
business workers and other persons who work for security related organizations.
And for organizations with Information Technology and other information related
policies this implementation report will be more helpful.
Why to use secure Web Browser
 Many users without knowing the risks about what will happen if they open
new tabs that are having high risks
 Most of the websites will take us to unexpected sites which will harm to
our devices
 Many websites provides high provides various high features but they will
also operate in high risk rate.
 In recent times most of the new virus and threats have been identified
which will severely harm our systems
 Most of the third party software are not equipped with security updates
due to this hackers are easily hacking our systems without our notice and
they are stealing our valuable data.
 Most of the active users are not willing to know how to secure a Web
browser, due to this there is an increase in vulnerability to the computer
system.
Introduction to ASP.NET Web Applications in Visual Studio
We can create the most powerful World Wide Web application by using Visual
Studio.NET. By using this Visual Studio.NET we include everything from a
traditional Web site that serves HTML pages, to fully featured business
applications which runs on the internet.

Visual Studio ASP.NET Web Applications
A Visual Studio Web application is built around ASP.NET. Design-time objects
and controls and a run-time execution context are used by the ASP.NET for
developing and running applications on a Web server.
Web browsers which are created by using ASP.NET will works only on
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
The benefits of designing a Web Browser with ASP.NET are
 Project Management Features: By using ASP.NET we can easily track
of the files we need to be compiled and deployed
 User Interface: our designed application generally presents information to
users; in an ASP.NET Web application, the user interface is presented in
Web Forms pages, which send output to a browser. Optionally we can
create tailored for mobile devices or other Web applications.
 Components: By using ASP.NET for performing specific tasks many
applications include reusable elements containing code. In Web
applications, we can again use these components as XML Web services.
 Data: some forms of data access are required by most of the applications.
Like that in ASP.NET Web applications we can use ADO.NET. ADO.NET
is a part of the .NET Framework
 Security, performance and other Infrastructure features: After
designing any application we must provide a good security measures in
order to prevent unauthorized persons use, test and debugging the
applications. Same measures are taken in building and designing Web
Browsers from ASP.NET.
 For debugging and web browsing we need to have more than two Web
Browsers. We can’t two Web browsers in one Web browsers application
but this can be happened by using ASP.NET Web browser. We can get
multiple Firefox and Google Chrome profiles.
By means of language services, different programming languages are
supported by the ASP.NET Web browser. Some of the programming
languages which are supported by the ASP.NET Web browser are

Web Browser Features and Risks
Before providing security to the Web browser first of all we need to know the
functionality and feature of the Web browser. For lowering the risks we should
enable some Web browsing features. By default most of the Web browsers are
equipped with default settings to provide more convenience to users due to this
most of the computers are affected by virus.
Through various vulnerabilities most of the client-side systems are attacked by
attackers. By these vulnerabilities they are taking control of our systems and
stealing the most valuable data and secured data. Sometimes these attackers are
even trying to destroy our secured data. These kind of vulnerabilities are
exploited in Web browser functionality. By installing Trojan software in a
malicious web page they will steal our information. If we visit that malicious site
virus will be easily get in to our system. This is the easiest way to install virus to
our systems by intruders to steal our most valuable data. Hence to protect our
Web browser from these intruders we need to follow some basic steps which are
listed below.
Steps to follow on how to make Google chrome more secure
We need to use our daily usage Web browsers in a most and effective secure
manner. Some of the mostly used Web browsers are Google Chrome, Internet
Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox and Apple Safari. If we don’t use our Web browser in
secure manner there might be a chance of stealing data from the intruders. For
this assignment I will show what are the preventive steps to take for make Google
Chrome and Internet Explorer more secure than ever.
First starting with Google Chrome
We can make Google Chrome more secure by implementing some security
features in it they are
 Sandboxing Functions
 Privilege restrictions and
 To protect Google Chrome from unauthorized persons it is good to
update Google Chrome once in a week.

How to use Google Chrome in secure and advanced manner
To make Google Chrome more secure we need to follow some steps which are
listed below
 First we need to go to the settings page of the Google Chrome
 Next search for privacy settings to make change some default changes
 For spell checking errors click on the check box of use a Web service to
help resolve spelling errors.
 We need to check box of Enable phishing and malware protection box
 Next we need to check box of Enable Content setting box and restrict some
content

5. Next go to Content settings make sure to check all the boxes which are shown
below.
 Protecting the saved credentials stored in Google Chrome
If this box is checked then make sure that your Pcs and mobile phones are in a
secured place. The reason is when we try to open some accounts login pages like
Veda credit score details, Gmail, Bank Accounts etc. they will be automatically
logged in by Google Chrome Web browser so to prevent these things it is good to

uncheck this box. Whenever Google Chrome prompts you to save the credentials
for future use just ignore it.

It is always good to have synchronizations for any Web browser. By using this
feature we can synchronize apps, passwords, and bookmarks from one device to
other device. For example of we want to open up particular tab which opened in
Pc Google Chrome in my Mobile, simply go to
 Settings
 Bookmarks and
 Select desktop book mark
For making Google Chrome more secure make sure your Google Chrome is
checked with a two step verification process. One of the advantages of this
feature is, we can make whenever we open our Gmail account it will prompt you
to enter one time password in to my mobile we need to enter the password which
is shown then only my Gmail account will be opened. If we lost our mobile then I
will be having 5 passwords which are stored in my wallet. I can open my Gmail
account in most secure manner.

Conclusion
A good advanced and secured Web browser is designed with some advanced
security settings to reduce the risks caused by intruders. Clear description of how
to reduce the threats caused by intruders and how to handle the intruders by
taking some preventive measures like installing a onetime password to our mobile
before logging in to Gmail account is shown. And what are the measures to be
taken for improving the security of both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer
are shown.
